Starlink Satellites, 60 More Delivered by SpaceX

Space Coast, FL – Another 60 Starlink satellites were deployed in low earth orbit today by SpaceX. The launch occurred at 1501 EDT or 1901 UTC from LC-39A at NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Starlink Satellites Deployment

The Falcon 9 rocket booster made it's successful landing on the ASDS Of Course I Still Love You in the Atlantic Ocean. After an hour from lift off, sixty Starlink satellites were deployed into orbit.

Today's launch marked the thirteenth launch this year on the Space Coast of Florida. All by which have been executed by none other than SpaceX. This Falcon 9 is the second to reach a nine time reuse. It's previous mission include Telstar 18 VANTAGE, Iridium-8, and six Starlink missions.

Starlink is ideally suited for areas of the globe where connectivity has typically been a challenge. It is now delivering initial beta service both domestically and internationally. SpaceX will continue their expansion of starlink satellite constellation to near global coverage of the populated world in 2021.
